Claire Maguire Is a Travel Expert and self-confessed “Travelaholic” (119 countries visited and counting, and all 7 continents several times over!) who helps people to create and realize their Bucket List Dream trips.
She loves to create priceless memories for her Travel Agency Clients and shares her passion and knowledge with her book, “Make your Bucket List Trip a Reality!” (available on Amazon).
Affectionately known to clients, friends and industry colleagues as “Upintheairclaire”, she lives up to the moniker by traveling as often as possible.
Claire’s adventurous spirit has led her to cross off two incredible destinations from her Bucket List: the pristine landscapes of Antarctica and the exotic paradise of Tahiti & French Polynesia. However, her wanderlust knows no bounds, and she keeps discovering new and captivating places to explore. From the untamed wilderness of Botswana to the idyllic beaches of Zanzibar; the vibrant culture of Thailand; the far northern Arctic Greenland, Iceland and Svalbard; the remote islands of Fiji, and the historic charm of Cappadocia, Turkey, Claire’s travel favorites are always a growing list!
Recent explorations included a return to Antarctica with expeditions to South Georgia and the Falkland Islands; hiking the Inca Trail; a safari in Tanzania and hiking Kilimanjaro and a yacht expedition to Morocco, Spain and France. Also in 2024, trips included a NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC expedition to Bali, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Kimberley region of Australia and a trip to the Formula 1 races in Oman and Abu Dhabi + Middle East cruise.
Claire has been featured in articles in USA TODAY as well as many other Travel trade publications and is frequently cited as an Antarctica and worldwide Expedition travel expert.
